Were You a Uranium Miner, Miller, Core Driller, or Test Site Worker Between 1942 – 1990?

What is RECA?

The Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA) was created by the U.S. government to provide financial compensation to workers and others who became sick after being exposed to radiation from government nuclear activities.
(Recently, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act [OBBBA] was signed into law July 2025. It reauthorized RECA for three more years and significantly expanded its coverage.)

Did you work in one of the following positions?

  • Uranium Miner
  • Miller
